Terms and estimate notice

These terms apply to the RoofGlance website and to the instant roof estimate tool.

Your estimate is not a contract

The tool measures a roof from aerial imagery and shows an estimate. It is not a quote, a bid, or an offer. The final price is set after an on-site inspection, and it can differ from the estimate.

What can change the price

Roof size and pitch that differ from the aerial measurement.
The condition of the decking under the roof.
The number of existing roof layers.
Ventilation and building code requirements.
The product you choose and the schedule.

Accuracy

Aerial imagery can be out of date. Trees, shadows, and recent work on a home can affect a measurement. If the tool cannot measure a roof, the roofing company measures it by hand.

Using the tool

Enter only information that is true and that you have the right to share. Do not use automated programs to send requests to the tool.
